Just up the road from my home is a field with two horses in it. From a distance, each looks like any other horse.

But if you stop your car or are walking by, you will notice something quite unusual.

One of the horses is completely blind. But the owner, being a kind soul, didn’t have the heart to put him down. Instead, he found a way to help him.

The second horse has a small bell attached to his halter. The blind horse listens for the bell and follows his friend around the field, never getting lost.

If you stand there long enough, you’ll see that the horse with the bell will occasionally stop and look back, making sure the blind horse is still following. And if he isn’t, he’ll trot back and give him a gentle nudge, as if to say, "Come on, buddy, keep up!"

Now, isn't that heartwarming? Two horses, proving that true friendship is about looking out for each other.

But then one day, the owner decided to play a little trick. He tied the bell to a tree and watched as the blind horse walked in circles around it for an hour before realizing he’d been pranked.

Moral of the story? Even the best friendships can have their blind spots! 😆
