The boss smirked. "Well, let’s just say I’d love to give you a private tour of my penthouse. Maybe we could discuss your... long-term investment in me?"

She finally looked up, raised an eyebrow, and said, "Oh, I see. So you're saying if I invest my time in you, I’ll get a good return?"

She smiled sweetly. "Yep. First, I’ll need a raise. Second, I’ll need an expense account for 'business meetings.' And third…" she pulled a piece of paper from her drawer "...you’ll need to sign this little document stating that you are fully aware that my boyfriend is a professional kickboxer."

The boss turned pale. "Oh… um… kickboxer, you say?"

She nodded. "Yeah. But don’t worry, he’s very fair. He only throws one punch if you confess right away."

The boss gulped and immediately stood up. "You know what? Forget I said anything. You’re doing great, keep up the good work!"

As he hurried back to his office, the secretary smirked, shook her head, and muttered, "Amateurs. They always forget to read the terms and conditions."
