Naveen asked Girish to help him fix the antenna at his house. So, after work, the two just went straight over to Naveen's house.
When they got to the door, Naveen went straight to his wife, Neha, who was sitting in the living room.
"Neha," Naveen said, "we need to fix the antenna. It’s been acting up all week, and the signal's so bad, even the dog’s turned the TV off!"
Neha smiled and replied, "Oh, so now you need help with the antenna? Last time, you said you’d fix it yourself. What happened to 'I’m a man, I can handle anything!'"
Naveen scratched his head nervously. "Well, that was before I realized my DIY skills are as good as our Wi-Fi signal—sporadic and full of disconnects."
Neha raised an eyebrow. "Uh-huh. Well, I’m not going to help. You wanted to fix it, you fix it."
Naveen turned to Girish, who had been silently standing by, looking around the house and admiring the decor. "Girish, you ready to get this thing working?" he asked.
Girish, who had been admiring the houseplant in the corner, blinked and then replied with a grin, "I think the real problem is the signal between you and Neha, Naveen. I mean, you guys need a couple of ‘reception’ boosters before you tackle the antenna!"
Naveen chuckled awkwardly, "Thanks, Girish, I’ll get right on that… maybe after I’m done fixing the Wi-Fi... and my marriage!"
Girish winked, "Don’t worry, I’ll help with the antenna. But you’re on your own for the rest of it!"
Naveen sighed, "I guess that’s what happens when your DIY projects go as smoothly as your love life—one big static mess!"
