Charlie Chaplin once told a joke in front of the audience. Everyone laughed. And he brought it back for the second time, so only some laughed. When he brought it back for the third time, no one laughed at all.
Charlie paused, looked at the crowd, and then said with a smirk, "If you can't laugh at the same joke three times, how can you cry over the same problem for three years?"
The audience chuckled, realizing the truth in his words, and then burst into applause. "Now that's something worth laughing at," one person called out.
Charlie, ever the quick wit, added, “See, I told you I had more than just one good joke!”
