At that time, a tiny mouse was playing nearby, chasing its own tail and doing mouse things.

By accident, the little mouse ran straight over the lion’s massive paw.

The lion snapped awake, roared loudly, and started furiously searching for whoever dared to disturb his royal nap.

Spotting the terrified little mouse shaking in fear, the lion growled, “You woke me up?! Do you have any idea who I am? I am the KING of the jungle!”

The mouse, trembling, nervously squeaked, “I-I’m so sorry, Your Majesty! It was an accident! Please don’t eat me!”

The lion smirked. “Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t turn you into a snack right now.”

The mouse swallowed hard and blurted out, “B-because one day, I might save your life!”

The lion burst into laughter. “You? Save me? You’re smaller than my whisker! That’s the funniest thing I’ve heard all day!”

Still, feeling generous, the lion decided to let the mouse go.

A few days later, the lion got caught in a hunter’s net. He struggled, roared, and tried to escape, but the more he moved, the tighter the net became.

Just then, a tiny familiar voice piped up, “Hold on, Your Majesty! I got this!”

The lion looked down to see the same little mouse.

The mouse quickly chewed through the ropes, and within minutes, the lion was free.

The lion, feeling shocked and grateful, smiled at the mouse and said, “I can’t believe it… You actually saved me!”

The mouse stood proudly, crossed its tiny arms, and smirked. “And you wanted to EAT me. Bet you feel silly now, huh?”

The lion chuckled. “Alright, alright. You win. From now on, we’re friends.”

The mouse nodded. “Good. Now, about your ‘King of the Jungle’ title… I think we should discuss a power-sharing agreement.”

And from that day on, the mighty lion and the tiny mouse became the most unlikely (but unstoppable) duo in the jungle.
