An elderly gentleman had been experiencing serious hearing problems for a number of years.

He finally decided to go to the doctor, who fitted him with a brand-new set of hearing aids that restored his hearing to 100%.

A month later, he returned to the doctor for a check-up.

The doctor smiled and said, "Your hearing is perfect! Your family must be thrilled that you can hear again!"

The old man chuckled.

"Oh, I haven’t told them yet."

The doctor looked surprised. "You haven’t? Why not?"

The elderly man leaned in and whispered, "I've just been sitting around listening to their conversations... and let me tell you, doctor—I've changed my will three times already!"
