Aldric was annoyed when his wife told him that a car had backed into her, damaging a fender. Worse, she hadn’t gotten the license number.

"What kind of car was he driving?" he asked, rubbing his temples.

She hesitated for a moment, then said, "Um... blue."

Aldric sighed. "Okay… was it a sedan? An SUV? A truck?"

She furrowed her brow, thinking hard. "I think it had four wheels."

He pinched the bridge of his nose. "Most do, honey. Anything else?"

"Yes!" she said, perking up. "It had windows!"

Aldric groaned. "That really narrows it down. Did you at least see the driver?"

"Of course!" she said confidently. "He had a face."

"A face," Aldric repeated flatly. "Fantastic. Anything distinguishing about it?"

She thought again. "He looked… guilty."

Aldric threw his hands up. "Great! So, we’re looking for a guilty-looking guy in a blue, four-wheeled vehicle with windows."

She nodded enthusiastically. "See? You got it!"

Aldric sighed. "I’ll just call the insurance company and tell them to look for a car that exists."
