"Big John" staggers out of the saloon and onto the street only to find that his horse has been painted yellow. He storms back into the bar, screaming and cursing, promising a painful death to the prankster who dared to deface his beloved steed.

"Who did this?!" he roars, shaking his fists at the unsuspecting patrons. "I swear, whoever did this will regret it!"

The bartender, trying to stay calm amidst Big John’s fury, says, "Now, John, calm down. You’ve had a bit too much whiskey. Maybe it’s just a joke, you know, some harmless fun."

Big John glares at him and growls, "Harmless fun? My horse is bright enough to be seen from space! Who would do something like this?"

From the back of the room, a small, frail man timidly raises his hand. "Uh, that would be me."

Big John’s eyes narrow. "You?!"

The man steps forward, his voice barely above a whisper. "I thought… I thought it would make him stand out. I didn’t think you’d be this upset."

Big John pauses, staring at the man. Then, in a moment of unexpected clarity, he bursts into laughter. "Well, at least now I won’t lose him in a crowd!"

The whole bar erupts in laughter as Big John walks back outside, shaking his head and chuckling.

"Next time, though," he mutters, "maybe I'll ask for a red horse instead."

The bartender smiles to himself, "Big John, always finding the silver lining—even if it's painted in neon yellow."
