A woman finds Aladdin's magic lamp. She starts rubbing it, and a Genie comes out as usual. The woman looks at the Genie and asks him to grant her wishes.
She says, "I want my husband to be more romantic, more attentive, and more helpful around the house!"
The Genie nods and with a wave of his hand says, “Your wish is granted!”
The woman’s eyes widen in excitement as she imagines her husband suddenly becoming a prince charming. But when she gets home, she is in for a surprise.
As she walks through the door, her husband greets her with a huge bouquet of flowers and a candlelit dinner prepared. "I thought we could spend the evening together," he says, wearing a tuxedo, looking like he stepped out of a romance movie.
“Wow,” she says, her mouth agape. “This is amazing! What happened?”
He smiles and says, “Well, I figured I should start by helping around the house more—so I just remodeled the kitchen and set up a spa for you in the bathroom.”
"Wait, what?" she says, “You remodeled the kitchen?”
"Yeah," he says proudly, "I even bought a new dishwasher. It's got more buttons than a spaceship, but I think I’ll figure it out... eventually."
Then, as he goes to light the candles, he stumbles and trips over a stack of laundry. "Oops! Maybe I could help with the laundry tomorrow. First, though, let’s dance to some music I downloaded just for you."
He grabs her, twirls her awkwardly, but with enthusiasm. Then he spins too fast and accidentally knocks over the dinner.
She stands there, frozen, watching the chaos unfold. Finally, she turns to the Genie and says, “You know what? Forget the romantic gestures. Can you make him go back to being normal?”
The Genie laughs and says, “Sorry, I’m all out of normal options. Maybe I can grant you one more wish—‘A peaceful evening’?”
She sighs, looks at her husband, and says, “You know what? Actually, I’ll take him just the way he is—messy, awkward, and all. At least he's trying!”
